Woman Zone Humanity Walk On Woman’s Day

The women of Cape Town will be taking to the streets again this year to celebrate Women’s Day, Sunday August 9th. Following the success last year of WOMAN ZONE’s Women’s Humanity Walk – this time it’s going to be even bigger and stronger!  As part of the Artscape Women’s Humanity Arts Festival, the walk will be led by Acting CEO of Artscape, Marlene le Roux who will be riding on a horse and cart (courtesy of the Cart Horse Protection Society).

Khanyisile Kweyama honoured as the most influential woman in Africa

Anglo American’s executive director in South Africa, Khanyisile Kweyama was honoured as the Most Influential Women on the African continent, in the mining sector at a gala awards dinner hosted by CEO Communications, the publishers of CEO Magazine. The awards recognised her influence in the mining sector across the African continent, and this follows on from an award she received for the SADC region in the same category in July this year.
