Menlyn Park Shopping Centre has launched three fantastic gift-wrapping pop-up stores, with all proceeds going to Smile Foundation. Each of the beautifully designed stores offers a unique experience, catering for every shopper’s needs.

Santa’s Workshop is aimed at the busy mom, and provides fantastic entertainment for kids. “Santa has come to visit Menlyn and children can have their picture taken with him and his elves,” says Olive Ndebele, general manager of Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. Daily activities are scheduled and face painting is offered.

For those with a creative bent, the Craft Workshop is the place to use your own ideas to give your gifts that personal touch. All the wrapping items you need to make wrapping fun and exciting are on hand, and gifts can be wrapped from as little as R20 each. Complimentary popcorn and drinks are available.

If being pampered is what you really need this December, then The Luxe pop-up store is the answer. Have a head massage and sip on a glass of bubbly while staff wrap your gifts, making Christmas shopping a joyful pleasure.

Radio DJ Sam Cowen, an ambassador for Smile Foundation, took the time to visit the shopping centre and have some fun at Santa’s Workshop with the kids. “Smile Foundation has given so many children hope and are thrilled that Menlyn Park Shopping Centre is donating all proceeds from the gift wrapping to their charity,” she says.

“Giving our shoppers the ultimate experience is important to us, and we’re always introducing fantastic experiences for everyone,” adds Ndebele.

Menlyn Park Shopping Centre has 500 stores and parking for over 8200 vehicles. Shopping hours have been extended and the mall will be open from 09:00 to 21:00Monday to Sunday, and from 09:00 to 17:00 on public holidays.
