To briefly introduce, Women in Science and Engineering (WISE India) has been created by a team who envisaged that a platform must be created to promote the vast resource pool of women engineers and scientists available in the country. It aims to enhance career opportunities for women by increasing networking nationally and globally, providing avenues for capacity building and by influencing formulation of policies for promoting them in these fields.

WISE is a platform for disseminating and sharing of knowledge, mentoring, professional development and networking to facilitate the journey to success of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. Our vision is to help in building better prospects for women in these fields through their active participation and involvement.
