Top performers from around South Africa are preparing a day of dazzling entertainment at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on March 21 in a bid to raise R1 million to help fulfil the dreams of scores of children who are fighting life-threatening illnesses.

The fun-filled Right to Dream day kicks off at 10am, with Kfm presenter Jeremy Harris playing host for the event that will raise funds for the Reach For A Dream Foundation. Among the marvellous performers audiences can expect are legendary blues-musician Dan Patlansky, an act from Madame Zingara, Ballistic Blues, Studio K, Reach For A Dream’s very own dreamer Robyn van Rooyen, and dance routines from Dance For All and the Brooklyn Hip Hop Crew.

You can show your support for Reach For A Dream and help to make dreams come true by purchasing a Reach For A Dream beautifully beaded bracelet at the event for a mere R30,00. Proceeds will go towards the fulfilment of children’s dreams. The making of the Dream Bracelet was facilitated by Relate, a 100% not-for-profit social enterprise that creates opportunities to change lives. Relate’s unique model sees the majority of proceeds positively impacting the lives of others.

Reach For A Dream bracelets will be on sale from 19 March to 1 April 2013 at the following V&A Waterfront retailers and hotels: Aromatic Apothecary, Cape Union Mart, Old Khaki, Poetry, Clicks, Forever New, Hurley, Pick ‘n Pay, Spilhaus, Toy Kingdom, Two Oceans Aquarium, Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge and Protea Hotel North Wharf. Reach For A Dream will also have a bracelet stand outside Zara where you can buy bracelets and pin your special dream to the Wall of Dreams.
