7 WAYS TO ENJOY WINTER THIS YEAR Some people really love Winter. They love the cold, the rain and the constant excuse to wear a coat. For others, accepting the unfortunately freezing time of the year is a tougher pill to swallow. Here are 7 ways to get you through these trying times: 1. Find things that you love about winter and focus on these things. The smell of fresh rain on the grass, the mist covering the city in the mornings or the rainy days spent in bed. Focus on the good things and the bad things will seem balanced out. 2. Stay warm. Wear layers of suitable clothes for the weather and you will stay healthy and happy. Don’t forget to keep your feet and your head warm as this is where you lose most of your heat. 3. Take lots of vitamin B, C and D. You can get Vitamin D patches that help your body absorb all of the nutrients that you would usually absorb being exposed to sun. 4. Stay active – try not to let your habits slip. Stick to your routine and stay as active as possible. The endorphins and your healthy metabolism will do wonders for your mood. 5. Keep up your social life.
