Jacqui Setoaba is the Founder and Managing Director of Jacqui Setoaba Real Estate, a level 1 BEE rated company powered by Keller Williams Realty, a leading international real estate franchise.

This millennial is a young creator, innovator and rising entrepreneur in business and passionate about connecting and helping people. As a realtor, she matches buyers with sellers and helps people find their dream homes.

She has a natural ability to communicate with people on different levels and uses this to connect people in need with those in her social circles or by linking them with businesses or funders that will help meet their need, whatever it may be. She has participated in and contributed to the establishment of social entrepreneurship programmes and is happiest when she is able to use her knowledge and skills to the benefit of others.

Jacqui has served on the board of Neighbourhood Old Age Homes (NOAH), a Cape Town based NPO for over 10 years and continues to nurture her passion by being a catalyst of change, as a member of the Change Maker’s Hub advisory council.

She is a graduate of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and Vega School of Brand Management in Cape Town and is currently pursuing further studies in real estate.

What fuels her passion for change are simple biblical principles, which she applies to all aspects of her life – showing love for your neighbour and doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

She says, “When we live by these principles, we activate the power of .com (dot com)”. The dot com being a reference to community. A community that is strengthened, encouraged and comforted when we live in service to each other.

As the Zulu phrase goes, “Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu”, which means that you are because of those around you.
