Golf has become a popular sport amongst businessmen all over the world and some of the best golf courses are located in South Africa. The Simbithi Golf Estate – with its 18-hole executive golf course – changed the way golf is being played in KwaZulu-Natal.

On 22 November, lucky golfers will walk away with great prizes among which a brand new Volvo, a scooter and a jetski at the Blythedale Coastal Estate Annual Golf Day. This is a yearly event raising funds for the New Guelderland School in KwaDukuza, KZN.

Join in the fun at this year’s golf day on Thursday, 22 November at Simbithi Country Club for a day out on the course to show off your golfing skills and to meet and mingle with some great new people. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Simbithi Country Club while you tackle the fun, but tricky course.

A four-ball entry costs R2 000 and includes a golf cart. If you are a member or resident at the Simbithi Country Club, your entry will only be R1 000 for a four-ball.

First tee off takes place between 07:00 – 08:30 and the second tee off is between 11:30 – 13:00. Contestants can also expect great hole-in-one prizes on the 5th, 9th and 10th holes.

The following prizes can be won – a Volvo XC40, a fun and nippy Vespa scooter, a Seadoo jetski, as well as other fun prizes.

The annual golf day is hosted in support of the New Guelderland Combined School. All of the funds raised on the day will be donated to this school, a beacon of hope for children in the community.

We’ll wind down the day with live entertainment at the prize-giving by South African well-known artists like Kurt Darren, Danny Fisher and many more.
