THE LAWNS AT THE ROUNDHOUSE

ALLÉE BLEUE WINE ESTATE

The historic Allée Bleue Wine Estate near Franschhoek has a plethora of enticing offerings to keep family and friends happy and busy over the holiday season.

During the holiday days of 24, 25 and 26 December families are welcomed to indulge in Allée Bleue’s popular picnics that have become a signature event in the Winelands. The Chicnic menu costs R695 per couple, R295 per person and the kiddies picnic costs R150 per child. The Chicnic-On-The-Go menu costs R670 per couple, R270 per person and the kiddies picnic costs R125 per child. For guests that prefer a more traditional take on Christmas, the Allée Bleue Bistro, the set Christmas menu is priced at R385 per person and includes a welcome drink on arrival.

On the cards too is a New Year’s Eve celebration to be hosted in the estate’s flagship, 250-seater ballroom, Le Grand Hall.  This casual and fun event will offer food stalls offering various eats ranging from local delicacies to sweet treats.
