The Cannabis Expo is on at the Sun Exhibits, GrandWest from 19 to 22 March 2020. This expo is the global marketplace for education, innovative products and businesses serving the medicinal, agricultural and lifestyle aspects of the cannabis industry. 

Over the past few years, the cannabis industry has exploded not only in South Africa but around the world. The Cannabis Expo is the perfect platform for international and local medical health professionals, agricultural providers and lifestyle brands to engage with industry experts about this versatile plant. 

“The Cannabis Expo promises to be the largest trade and consumer expo of its kind on the African continent,” says Elouise Matthys, the PR and Promotions Manager at GrandWest. “The expo will include an exhibitor hall, networking and entertainment spaces with a stage for speakers and workshops spaces that will host local and international experts on this product,” she says. 

The Workshop at the expo, which is open to all visitors, will host talks from industry experts every half hour throughout the event on informative topics about the product.

Separate delegate passes are also available for The Cannabis Convention taking place alongside The Cannabis Expo. This is the largest cannabis convention to take place in Africa, with global industry leaders and local government representatives from across the Sub-Saharan region taking part in moderated panel discussions and presenting talks on a wide range of topics related to this incredible plant. 

Tickets are available from Computicket or at the door. The Cannabis Expo will cost R150 pre-sale or R200 at the door. Tickets for The Cannabis Convention, which includes access a four-day pass to The Cannabis Expo, are R950 pre-sale or R1900 at the door. 

The event will be open from 10h00 to 18h00 from Thursday 19 March 2020 to Saturday 21 March 2020. On Sunday 22 March 2020 the event will open at 10h00 and close at 16h00. Strictly no under 18s will be allowed.
