Habib Noorbhai has appointed Michelle Korevaar as his Managing Agent.
Late November, Habib was crowned Mr South Africa. The MR SA sash he wears is more than a symbolic representation of being chosen out of all the contestants as the winner. The contest which has been running since 1982 has launched many a popular face which include Michael Mol, Marcus Muller, Dieter, Zino Ventura, Stephen Segal, Andrew Govender and Armand du Plessis.
Mr South Africa is about inspiring through not a male model, but a model male. The criteria are strict with a rigorous screening and elimination process, seeking qualities such as Excellence. Integrity. Adventure. Professionalism. Competence. Compassion. A leader, to inspire and motivate. To act as a role model for boys and men to aspire to. To make a difference towards a better South Africa.
Habib Noorbhai (current Mr South Africa) is a Lecturer/Researcher in Sports Science at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. He is also a Biokineticist, Humanitarian and Speaker. Habib is also the current Founder of The Humanitarians NPO (www.humanitarians.org.za) and this was one of the main reasons for entering Mr South Africa, so that he can leverage the work that the NPO has been doing in the last 4 years. @Habib_Noorbhai
Habib says on winning his title; “the role as Mr. South Africa is an opportunity for me to be an ambassador for my beautiful country and resemble with pride, the patriotic qualities and virtues of a South African man. A good listener, with a sense of humour, I see myself as a proactive thought-leader, with humility and a passion for people. I want to use my reign to do more than just be seen. I believe From birth to death, we are all provided with the same platform to evoke a sustainable and innovative difference in the lives of others but each and every one of us, has a different path/journey. There are a number of factors that contribute towards a person’s uniqueness and individuality: environment, upbringing and the root. We all have a root within us. The stronger it is, the stronger it will grow. We can grow in maturity, success, value, personal development or within a community.
This is one of the reasons why I have appointed Michelle Korevaar as my Managing Agent; we have the same values when it comes down to being in service to the greater good.”

“ It’s an honour to be asked to assist Habib Noorbhai make the most of his role as Mr South Africa. My job will be to filter the many enquiries he receives to ensure his time is spent optimally according to his 2017 Vision and Mission. It also gives me the opportunity to reiterate within my own network, the importance of the male role in building a healthy society and more than that inspiring young men to own their truth and use their gifts to make a significantly positive contribution to the world they live in.
