New menu items for the New Year

Get your year off to a good start by enjoying a meal in the beautiful surrounds of Cape Town’s best address, The Table Bay, which this year celebrates 25 years in operation.

Offering five-star luxury hotel accommodation, this sophisticated Sun International property was opened in May 1997 by former president, Nelson Mandela. The Table Bay continues to set its own standards in international service, cuisine and luxury.

Enjoy the sumptuous surroundings of the hotel’s Lounge or Union Bar and order one of Chef Wesli Jacob’s delectable meals from R165, in January and February.

“I’ve used the freshest ingredients from land and sea to create with dishes to tantalise your taste buds. Enjoy seafood platters with grilled prawns, saffron mussels, grilled kingklip, and Cajun-fried calamari skewers, or tuna ceviche, made with west coast tuna, avocado and pica de gallo, mango and tortilla chips.” Curb serious hunger pangs with a delicious meal, like buttermilk fried chicken and Belgian waffles, sticky pork ribs or the seafood platter, either for one or two persons.

“All our meals are accompanied by wonderful views of the working V&A Waterfront harbour and the natural splendor of Table Mountain, along with Sun International’s renowned hospitality,” concluded Jacobs.
