Brighten the Festive Season with Brights Hardware’s R2 for Change Campaign.
As the festive season draws near, many of us focus on preparing our homes for celebrations, decorating, or making small improvements to welcome loved ones. This time of year, a visit to Brights Hardware is not just about shopping for your home – it’s a chance to support a campaign that brings joy and essential resources to those in need.
Through the R2 for Change Campaign, Brights Hardware customers can add R2 to their purchase, a small gesture that collectively makes a big impact. All contributions go directly to The Father’s Heart Community Development, an organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families in impoverished areas. This season’s donations will help fund a new Child & Youth Development Centre in Fisantekraal, providing a safe space for educational support, nutritious meals, mentorship, and more.
Funds raised will also go towards the Father’s Heart Annual Christmas Party – a day filled with joy for children and their families. With the generosity of Brights customers and other supporters, children enjoy a memorable outing, a warm meal, and receive a special gift chosen from their wish lists, written as letters to Santa during art class. “Every child is unique, with their own hopes and dreams, and we want them to feel cherished and special, especially at Christmas,” says Jill Carolissen, Founder and COO of The Father’s Heart.
The R2 for Change Campaign also helps fund:

⦁ Education Programs that unlock resources and opportunities for brighter futures.
⦁ Talent Development Programs in music, drama, and dance, ignite hope and aid in trauma recovery.
⦁ Nutrition Programs that ensure daily meals for children in the Online School and Aftercare programs.
