Following a successful pop-up trial, Woolworths’ W.Outlet will return to Access Park in Kenilworth, Cape Town, as a permanent store on 9 October 2026, giving customers access to Woolworths fashion with even more value.
The dedicated outlet will stock end-of-line and older fashion items from across the Woolworths store network. New products will arrive regularly, and the changing selection is designed to dellvier an exciting shopping experience with every visit.
“Customers continue to seek value but they don’t want to compromise on quality,” says Roxanne Gillan, General Manager Planning for Fashion, Beauty and Home at Woolworths. “The trial proved there is strong customer demand for a Woolworths outlet, and it also helped us identify opportunities to improve the range, stock flow, space design and overall customer experience.”
Access Park’s reputation as an established outlet destination made it a natural choice for the trial and ultimately the store’s permanent location. Customer response exceeded expectations, with strong demand across all categories, including kids, lingerie, mens’ and womens’ fashion and footwear.
W.Outlet complements Woolworths’ full line stores, which focus on extensive current season offering, while providing an additional channel to manage end-of-line stock more effectively.
The immediate focus is on making the Access Park store a long-term success, with the trial results giving Woolworths confidence in the potential for the concept at other suitable outlet locations in future.
