5 June 2024: Lourensford Wines– With a legacy rooted in the 1700s, Lourensford Estate is celebrated for its scenic beauty and exceptional wines, renowned for marrying centuries-old traditions with contemporary winemaking excellence. This event unveils the Kleipot wines, crafted by Chief Winemaker Hannes Nel in terracotta amphorae, promising an unforgettable evening of unparalleled taste and sophistication while highlighting Hannes’s unique winemaking style.
03 July 2024: Ridgeback Wines– Inspired by the courage of the Rhodesian Ridgeback, this estate embodies resilience in winemaking. With vineyards on high trellises and a modern winery since 2003, the Paarl-based estate, led by winemaker Toit Wessels, consistently achieves acclaim.
For those seeking a more informal wine experience, the hotel is also proud to present its Wine Society offering. Hosted in the ambient Magnolia Social Dining Lounge, this monthly calendar fixture has become a top highlight for the many of the return faces it consistently draws.
The evening unfolds with the opportunity to explore local wines in a social setting, with three winemakers presenting three wines each, all paired with Chef’s choice of small plate dishes, as well as a dessert small plate- the perfect sweet note to end an evening of revelry and relaxed knowledge on the featured varietals and vintages. Priced at R425 per person, these evenings promise an intimate and sociable setting for up to 30 guests.
