Recently at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2025, Perdeberg was ranked amongst the top 15 global wine producers and among the top two South African wine producers. In addition to the awards, this year’s IWSC Awards Ceremony, which took place on 12 November in London, introduced a groundbreaking initiative: the IWSC Top 50 Producers in Wines and Spirits.
This new list celebrates producers who demonstrate exceptional performance over time, recognising distilleries and wineries that impress year after year. Rankings are based on three years of IWSC participation, taking into account not only medals but also entries that didn’t win, offering a holistic view of producer excellence and consistency.
This global snapshot highlights the “gold standard” of winemaking and distilling, featuring leading brands from across the world.
