Perdeberg Wines has once again reaffirmed its position as The Home of Chenin Blanc, after receiving five Gold medals at the prestigious Global Chenin Blanc Masters, hosted by The Drinks Business in the UK.
This internationally acclaimed competition recognises excellence in Chenin Blanc across a variety of styles, and Perdeberg’s achievement stands as a shining example of the versatility, quality, and craftsmanship behind its Chenin Blanc portfolio.
The following wines were awarded Gold:
1. Endura Single Vineyard Chenin Blanc
Ripe stone fruit, citrus, and lemon aromas lead to a rich palate with fresh acidity and a mineral finish. This expressive wine pairs beautifully with fish, poultry, or spicy curries.
2. G.O.A.T Chenin Blanc

3. The Dry Land Collection Fortitude Fortified Chenin Blanc

4. The Dry Land Collection Longevity Natural Sweet Chenin Blanc
Proof of Chenin Blanc’s remarkable versatility, this wine delights with marmalade, honeycomb, and a touch of ginger on the nose. The palate is viscous and lush. Ideal with desserts like koeksisters, matured cheeses or other sweet treats.
5. Vineyard Collection Cap Classique Chenin Blanc
Fresh and vibrant with green pear, Granny Smith apple, lime and grapefruit aromas. A crisp minerality and biscuit finish make this Cap Classique a natural choice as an aperitif or paired with oysters and fresh seafood. Serve well chilled.
