Venue Grand Arena, GrandWest

Hosted by Robin Pieters, Empower Her Resilience is an annual event to celebrate women with musical entertainment and uplifting storytelling from a number of artists and speakers who will share their stories and wisdom. Empower Her Resilience 2025 takes place in the Grand Arena at GrandWest on Saturday, 9 August from 8pm.
“This is a tribute to you – the women who embody strength, grace, and unwavering resilience,”says Pieters, a 34-year-old entertainer from Plumstead who started his career as a back-up singer for stars such as Alistair Izobell, Claire Phillips, Sasha-Lee Davids, Karin Kortje and more.
“This is more than a celebration; it’s a recognition of your power, your journey, and your voice. You are seen. You are valued. You are unstoppable,” he says.
Last year’s event sold out three weeks in advance, a show which included strong women singers, motivational speakers, MCs, and a poet. “This industry is extremely tough, and some days I just want to give up, but in moments like this, you make it worthwhile for me,” the performer wrote on his Instagram at the time. “I strive to give you value for your money and an unforgettable experience. I would also like to thank God for this great gift He has instilled in me and for giving me a vision.”
Tickets are available between R135 and R300 from Webtickets.
