ESPN Africa to broadcast both Eastern and Western Conference
Finals live, leading up to the NBA Finals this July
ESPN Africa will broadcast the matches in both the NBA (National Basketball Association) Eastern and Western Conference Finals live, building up to the season’s final matches this July.
The Eastern Conference Final will see the Atlanta Hawks take on the Milwaukee Bucks with Game 1 on Thursday 24th June at 02:30 AM (CAT) followed by Game 2 taking place on Saturday 26th June at 02:30 AM (CAT). In the Western Conference Final, the Phoenix Suns lead the Los Angeles Clippers 1-0 in the series so far with Game 2 scheduled for Wednesday 23rd June at 03:00 AM (CAT) and Game 3 scheduled for Friday 25th June also at 03:00 AM (CAT). Each series includes up to seven games, with a best-of-seven format. The first team in each conference to win four matches will advance to the NBA Finals.
The Hawks made it to the Conference Finals with a 4-3 semi-final series win over the Philadelphia 76ers, with the Bucks securing their spot alongside Atlanta by seeing off the Brooklyn Nets 4-3. In the Western Conference, the Clippers defeated the Utah Jazz 4-2 to set up their clash with the Suns, who claimed a 4-0 series sweep over the Denver Nuggets.
