A Magical St Patrick’s Weekend at The President

The President Hotel is hosting a spectacular three-day St. Patrick’s celebration from 15 to 17 March 2025. This year’s festivities feature a delightful line-up of Irish- inspired food, drink and entertainment for a memorable St. Patrick’s Day experience.

A weekend of Irish cheer
The celebration kicks off on Saturday, 15 March with an action-packed St. Patrick’s Pre-Party for R375 per person. Guests will enjoy a day of international rugby screenings, including the highly anticipated Italy vs. Ireland match, while digging into delicious Irish-inspired canapés like Jameson Cured Yellow Tail and traditional Boxty. The evening continues with a main course featuring Beef Short Rib and Guinness Stew, Stout Marinated Chicken or Barley and Potato Stew, followed by indulgent Baileys Cheesecake or Honey and Stout Tart for dessert.

Adding to the authentic atmosphere, renowned Celtic musician Bryan Tennant will perform throughout the evening, creating the perfect backdrop for this Irish celebration.

The festivities continue on Sunday, 16 March with a special St. Patrick’s Sunday Lunch for R395 per person, featuring a themed buffet and plenty of Irish cheer to keep the celebration going.

Ending off the weekend, Monday, 17 March — St. Patrick’s Day itself — brings exclusive drinks specials including buy 2 Guinness, get 1 free, and 25% off when you purchase 2 Irish cocktails.
