Whether you’re an adrenalin junkie or purely in need of a family day out, the Sky-Hi Ride experience demands to be added to your bucket list, as it is one of only seven of its kind in Africa.
Rising 146 meters above the Cape Town city bowl and reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h, the Sky-Hi Ride is not for the faint-hearted, yet undoubtedly boasts breathtaking views of the city.
With the majestic Table Mountain in the background, the 65-second ride will reward you with a bird’s eye view of the city bowl below. Imagine beautiful beaches, cloud-capped mountains, historical buildings, and a gently curving coastline surrounded by brilliant blue water.
It’s an image that will leave you instantly captivated.
In an effort to combat the effects of the pandemic, Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company (TMACC) launched #TheCablewayLovesLocal campaign in August to create business partnerships that foster economic growth and benefit local communities.
This month, TMACC is collaborating with the exhilarating Sky-Hi Ride, located on the rooftop of the stylish Hotel Sky in the Cape Town CBD.
In this special offer, you can buy two return Table Mountain Cableway tickets and two Sky-Hi Ride tickets for just R900. This is a 30% discount on the regular price of R1300.
“As part of our efforts to rebuild Cape Town’s tourism sector, we are partnering with local businesses to create more accessibility and opportunities for visitors to experience the local tourism industry and what it has to offer,” says Giselle Esau, Executive Manager of Brand and Marketing at TMACC.
Weather-permitting, the Sky-Hi Ride is open daily between 11h00 and 21h00 and is limited to 10 persons per ride, to both hotel guests and outside visitors.
Bookings are essential and ticket purchases can be made via Webtickets. Terms and conditions apply. For more information on this offer, visit our website www.tablemountain.net and click on “buy tickets”.
