G-STAR announces the appointment of Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh as Creative Directors for its premium collections. This marks more than just a new collaboration, it’s another step in the brand’s bold evolution. With their arrival, G-STAR emphasizes once again its commitment to creativity and innovation in denim.
Following in the footsteps of past collaborators such as Pharrell Williams, Aitor Throup, Walter Van Beirendonck, and Marc Newson, the design duo BOTTER brings a progressive outlook that aligns with G-STAR’s legacy while staying true to its iconic DNA.
By reintroducing the pinnacle RAW RESEARCH collection, they are tasked with bringing a forward-thinking perspective on denim while influencing both men’s and women’s collections.
RAW RESEARCH – Innovation and Imagination in Denim
RAW RESEARCH is G-STAR’S dedication to the future of denim. A label that challenges conventions, pushes boundaries, and where bold ideas are transformed into designs. In January 2026, BOTTER will debut their first RAW RESEARCH collection during Paris Fashion Week. A first glimpse will already be seen in June 2025.

The Designers – Vision, Culture, and Credibility
Botter and Herrebrugh have emerged as one of fashion’s most respected design duos. Their creative language blends cultural commentary, innovation, and sustainability, challenging the conventions of contemporary fashion.
· Rushemy Botter studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, mentored by Walter Van Beirendonck.
· Lisi Herrebrugh, a cum laude graduate of AMFI, started her career at Viktor & Rolf.
· In 2017, they founded BOTTER, a fashion label that won both the Hyères Grand Prix and the ANDAM Fashion Award.
· From 2018 to 2022, they served as Creative Directors of Nina Ricci, bringing their experimental vision to the global stage.
