Vergenoegd Löw invites guests to ease into the festive season with a morning of creativity, connection, and calm. On Thursday, 27 November, from 10:00 to 14:00, the estate will host a wreath-making workshop with Bernice Baumgarten, florist, event specialist and owner of BerniceB Bespoke Events.
Under her’s warm and thoughtful guidance, participants will create their own unique Christmas wreaths using sustainable materials and natural elements gathered from Vergenoegd Löw’s indigenous gardens. Each piece is designed to be long-lasting – a personal reflection of the season’s joy and individuality.

The intimate workshop is limited to just 20 guests, allowing ample one-on-one guidance and time to savour the creative process. A welcome drink sets the tone for a relaxed morning, followed by the guided wreath-making session and a casual lunch at Clara’s Barn, where conversation and laughter are as essential as the farm-to-table food by executive chef Michelle Theron.
Tickets are priced at R2 000 per person, including the guided workshop, all materials and a handmade wreath to take home, as well as a Cape-heritage inspired farm lunch.
Vergenoegd Löw wines will be available for purchase during lunch at special estate pricing.
Take advantage of this rare opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature, and celebrate the festive spirit through the mindful art of floral creation.
