On the edge of Granger Bay, Radisson Collection Hotel Waterfront Cape Town is inviting locals and visitors to spend more time by the water this summer, with a daily sundowner ritual, a Saturday lunch built around fire and seafood, and a new seasonal menu at Tobago’s Restaurant.
For many Capetonians, the Atlantic coastline is part of everyday life. It’s where morning coffee tastes a little better, lunches run longer than planned, and friends meet up after work.
The hotel has shaped its offering around this rhythm, which it calls Atlantic living: good food, ocean views, daily rituals, and time with the people who matter. A day here might start with coffee at the hotel café, carry on with a work lunch overlooking the water, and end with seafood, wine, or cocktails as evening settles over the bay.
Fire & Tide Ocean Grill
Every Saturday, Tobago’s signature Fire & Tide Ocean Grill brings together the very best of land and sea in a leisurely feast designed for sharing. The experience begins with freshly shucked Saldanha Bay oysters and seasonal salads, before moving to the live-fire ocean grill, where the catch of the day and flame-grilled fish take centre stage.
There’s also a shawarma station, with slow-roasted meats carved to order, followed by a selection of shared sweets and seasonal treats. At R1 250 per person, it’s an unhurried Saturday lunch built around good food, the Atlantic, and the simple pleasure of lingering a little longer.
Atlantic Sundowner Ritual
From 17h30 to 18h30 every day, guests can take part in the Atlantic Sundowner Ritual. Signature cocktails such as Atlantic Calm, Golden Atlantic and The Breakwater, along with alcohol-free options including Atlantic Mist, Granger Bay and Last Light, can be paired with small plates. Inspired by the ever-changing mood of the ocean, the ritual isn’t about waiting for perfect weather or chasing the sunset; it is about embracing whatever the Atlantic brings. Clear skies, sea mist, or gathering clouds, the ritual takes place every day, creating a moment to pause and connect with the coastline.
New summer menu at Tobago’s Restaurant
Alongside the new experiences, Tobago’s Restaurant will welcome summer with a new menu from 01 October 2026, bringing new coastal flavours, seasonal produce and dishes made for sharing.
From October, the hotel’s open-air boardwalk and terrace will also be available for year-end gatherings, with a local braai-inspired menu and welcome drink included in the R895 per person package.

The new experiences capture a distinctly Atlantic approach to summer: good food, considered rituals and plenty of time to simply take in where you are.
