Gucci Borsetto
Introducing Gucci Borsetto, a new handbag designed to feel easy, expressive, and instantly recognizable. “Borsetto” plays with language the way it plays with form, a word mash-up merging borsa (Italian for bag) and morsetto (Italian for horsebit) into a single statement. A name that feels intuitive, modern, and effortlessly Italian.
The Horsebit embraces the future through the past, recalling Gucci’s equestrian inspirations from its first appearance in collections from the late 1940s, quickly becoming one of the House’s most recognizable emblems. Today, the symbol merges what was with what is to come, lending vintage charm to the handbag’s relaxed and contemporary silhouette.

An elongated handle and a detachable strap are added for wearer ease and versatility. Available in medium and large sizes, the design’s signature Horsebit hardware reinforces its connection to the House’s heritage codes. The collection is presented in a selection of refined materials and tones, including dark brown suede, soft black leather, and sand and dark brown GG Monogram canvas.
