Cape Country Routes member, De Hoop Collection is delighted to announce that the 2022 Wine Whales & Music Weekend has been confirmed for Friday 24 to Sunday 26 June 2022.
After the stresses, tension and uncertainties of the past two years taking some ‘time out’ to restore mind, body and soul is surely what you need! De Hoop Collection, situated in the pristine De Hoop Nature Reserve with accommodation ranging from affordable self-catering cottages to upmarket suites and fully catered lodges, is the perfect place to do just that particularly with the upcoming celebration of the Wine Whales & Music Weekend.
This amazing abundance of Music (Friday evening), Wine and cheese tastings, a talk delivered by a Guest Speaker, high tea, the “Whale Time Serenade” (Saturday) and a visit to the whales at Koppie Alleen with a De Hoop guide (Sunday), plus gourmet dinners, workshops, guided marine and bird walks, whale watching, and so much more…can be booked on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
The Wine Whales & Music Weekend rates for a two-night stay range from R2 505 per person sharing a 4-sleeper cottage to R6 500 per person sharing a suite. The Weekend rate (minimum two-night stay) includes entertainment, wine and cheese tasting, two dinners and breakfasts, high tea and a guided Visit with the Whales; drinks, workshops and guided activities are excluded. Nature Drive – R375 per person (children u/12 half price); guided Bird Walk – R 175 per person, children u/12 half price); Chocolate-making workshop – R 120 per person (children 12/under – half price).
