Don’t miss globally acclaimed comedian Jimmy Carr, when he returns to Cape Town with his ‘Terribly Funny’ show at the GrandWest Grand Arena on Sunday, 3 March from 7pm.
The British-Irish comedian, presenter, writer, and actor is a household name in the UK where he hosts shows such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Big Fat Quiz of The Year. He also presents Comedy Central’s Roast Battle UK and Your Face or Mine.
Carr was the first UK comedian to sign a stand-up deal with streaming behemoth Netflix in 2015, releasing three specials on the platform, Funny Business; and Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits and His Dark Material, which became Netflix’s most watched stand-up comedy special in the UK that year.
Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster.co.za at a starting cost of R800 each.
