South African fragrance lovers can now discover a new way to experience the unmistakable scents of Sol de Janeiro with the arrival of the brand’s Intense Perfume Mist collection. Created in response to one of the most consistent requests from the Sol de Janeiro community, for the fragrances they love to last even longer, the new Intense Perfume Mist format delivers a richer and more concentrated fragrance experience, with up to 10 hours of scent.*Capturing the warmth of Rio de Janeiro’s golden hour, the collection was built around a signature solar ambery accord, creating a richer, more intense expression of the brand’s cult-favorite scents, Cheirosa 62, 59, and 91, which will launch in South Africa in December, alongside the new Cheirosa 74 scent, a golden gourmand with notes of ripe pineapple, orange flower, and solar ambery accord.

Intense Perfume Mist was designed as the perfect counterpart to our existing mists to create an endlessly expressive fragrance wardrobe, with our core mists being fresher & lighter for daytime and the Intense mists their richer companion, for a bolder fragrance trail, and the two can be layered in endless combinations to match the mood and moment.
The original Cheirosa Perfume Mists remain the fresher, lighter option for everyday wear, while the Intense Perfume Mists offer a bolder fragrance trail and longer-lasting presence. The two formats can also be layered, allowing wearers to create their own fragrance combinations.
Designed for noticeable impact from the very first spray, the Intense Perfume Mist features a higher fragrance concentration and greater depth, creating an experience that sits between a traditional fragrance mist and fine fragrance.
At the centre of the collection is Cheirosa 74, a new fragrance inspired by the energy of Arpoador Beach in Rio de Janeiro, where locals and visitors gather at sunset to celebrate the final golden glow of the day.

Bringing the collection to life is Brazilian singer, songwriter and cultural icon IZA, who stars as the face of Sol de Janeiro’s global Your Endless Summer campaign.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, IZA brings her own connection to the city, its culture and energy to the campaign. Shot on the shores of Ipanema Beach, the campaign celebrates the warmth, confidence and magnetic energy that have long inspired the Sol de Janeiro brand.
